Our whole life can change at any given moment. Things we have stored up for years can be gone in an instant. But Jesus teaches us to depend on God to meet our needs day by day.

Dependence on God requires trust, and when we trust in Him, we are living by God’s power and provision rather than our own.

We acknowledge Him as Jehovah Jireh, the Lord God our Provider, and we trust He will supply ALL that we need each day.

Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11
